The first Southampton Open will take place on 17th and 18th May. This annual tournament combines a professional event with some of Europe's top pickleball talent with an inclusive and competitive amateur event. Four categories (3.0, 3.5, 4.0, and 4.5+) will be played on 20 acrylic courts with Franklin X40 balls. There will be a £1,500 Pro category prize pool, and Dupr ratings will be awarded to all players.

Tyson McGuffin is one of the most decorated pro players. He as had multiple wins as a Grand Slam Champion and National Champion and his rankings are among the top of pro-circuit players for singles and doubles.

Simone Jardim from brazil, is one of the top world female pickleball players. She turned pro in 2015 and has since won more PPA titles than any other female on the circuit to date. She holds the top spot in the world for women’s doubles and ranks among the top two in the world for pro-women doubles.
From Slovakia, Lucy is ranked top in the world for mixed doubles. After college, she gave up a the idea of being a tennis pro and started here pickleball career winning distinguished medals and major tournaments, including the Women’s Triple Crown in 2018.
